Area of Focus: otitis media, ear microsurgery, cochlear implant surgery, sinusitis, and head and neck surgery. She has abundant experience in treating neurological tinnitus and sudden deafness by integrated TCM and western medicine therapies. In addition, she has been working on applying TCM and western medicine treatment to allergic rhinitis, snoring, and chronic sinusitis.

She was responsible for one project funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), two by Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, two by Zhejiang Provincial Health Department. She was involved in five projects initiated by Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one provincial project focusing on translating theoretical knowledge into practices, and published more than 20 academic papers.
